My name is James Bird. I founded River Valley Custom Curbing because I enjoy projects that bring people full satisfaction in their homes. People in the tri-State area have a lot of pride in their properties, and curb appeal is something that we work hard to achieve. Custom Curbing takes the headache out of boarder bricks and plastic edging, which need frequent replacing and adjusting. Custom Curbing will provide customers with curb appeal that will last for years!
When I'm not busy with curbing, you can find me spending time with my family. We love to ride bikes, hike, and explore the outdoors. When the weather keeps us inside, we build Legos, play board games, and construct forts. My wife, Hilarie, is from Dubuque. We met when we lived in Sarasota, Florida. After seven years in Sarasota followed by four years in Urbana, Illinois, we moved to Dubuque in 2012. Our family still enjoys visits to Sarasota to see friends and family. We always cherish trips to my hometown, Saugatuck, Michigan. |
